For the past three days I’ve tried multiple time to activate the new account for my Father in the Starwood Preffered Guest (SPG) Program but each time I tried to activate the account I get the dreaded “We’re sorry, a system error is preventing us from continuing. Please try again later” as in the above Picture. This SPG account was created by the American Express when he applied for the Personal American Express Starwood Preferred Guest credit card.
I’ve tried different browsers, clearing cookies, etc. But the result is always the same. I have never seen their website so cranky? So I don’t know what is the Problem is. Have you come across this weird problem with SPG website? If yes, then please let me know if you were able to resolve it anyways. I am going crazy over this stuff.
